Administration Decries 'Democratic Fabrication' as More Epstein Estate Images Disclosed

Democratic lawmakers have made public a fresh batch of what they described as "alarming" images from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The initial drop of 19 images—a portion of which have been seen before—plus another 70 unveiled later on Friday account for a small number of the nearly 100,000 images released to the House oversight committee, which is looking into the conduct and connections of Epstein.

The disgraced financier died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking offenses.

Prominent Personalities in the Photos

Included in the high-profile individuals shown in the opening set are well-known figures including film director Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump is featured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are redacted.

White House Reaction

The White House addressed the release in a statement, alleging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the photographs for partisan aims and to "try and create a false narrative."

"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been time and again refuted," an administration official remarked, insisting that "the current government has done more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for disclosure, releasing thousands of pages of papers, and urging additional probes into Epstein's liberal connections."

Panel Member Comment

The images were released devoid of explanation, but according to a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.

"It is time to halt this White House concealment and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he said in a statement.

The publication of these documents coincides with the House panel proceeding with its inquiry into the affair.
