Football Expert Sutton Battles Singer Olly Murs in Top Flight Predictions
The Gunners' 10-game winning streak was ended by Sunderland prior to the international hiatus, however will the English top division leaders recover against north London rivals Spurs this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," remarked football expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, versus artificial intelligence, readers and a range of special visitors.
For the twelfth round, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
Murs' latest album, the new release, is out on Friday.
Football and Family Experiences
Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a successful singer and has been a featured player of multiple Soccer Aid games over time - but he is not intending a professional return as a footballer.
"{I actually played in a charity match the other night for a friend of mine," he said. "My side was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too risky for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my child or son decides to play instead."
The singer and his wife his partner have a young family, Madison and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.
"I won't force football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be managing their Saturday soccer team," he said.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously owned a soccer team for a while too.
"My father did it with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I inherited it. He managed our side for several years and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Premier League Forecasts
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues may have to be patient for their star's comeback from injury but their attack is already stronger with Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this game will be quite close, however. Burnley are disciplined and their sole home defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
It suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose the London side to edge it for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their past two games - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, West Ham won back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they appear competitive again.
The Hammers' sole away win this campaign came at Forest in August, when West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was still Forest manager.
Therefore, what exactly do I go with here - can West Ham extending their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth responding?
I am going to choose Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
Olly's prediction: The home team are performing strongly but West Ham have improved under Nuno. 2-2
The algorithm's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the frontrunners for the drop before the campaign started, but they have surprised a few people under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three in their past four games.
My son advised me to get Bees forward Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks ago and, guess what, I ignored the advice.
Thiago will probably find the net again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had much success on the road this season, and the Seagulls are always strong at their stadium. Brentford will attempt to hit them on the counter-attack but I think Fabian Hurzeler's side pose much more of a danger.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
The singer's view: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of scores but it actually proves to be quite tight. 1-1
AI's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a massive game for Fulham, who have lost five of their past six games.
They have have lots of talent in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone battle.
Regarding Sunderland, indeed they are the unexpected success of the top flight season so far.
The away side's display in the two-all draw with Arsenal last time out was excellent. We've not seen anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.
The sensible thing to do to back the visitors here, because they are clearly able of roughing Fulham up too and, the last time they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the close of last month.
However I am not going to choose that. Rather, I really need to continue opposing the away team with my predictions. I am taking a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they clearly love to prove me wrong.
Looking at the home side's home form, the only team they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's team will be absolutely eager for a positive outcome, so I am going to predict they will pick up three much-needed points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
Olly's choice: I'm aware the visitors are performing strongly and additionally that Fulham are on a bad run... but Fulham have nonetheless been decent at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0

This is a tough one to call. The Reds have suffered seven of their last ten games in every tournament, but could they be among the sides who benefit from the {international break|
